Marchesa Fall 2012
In a word, Marchesa was MAGICAL. The collection was nothing short of genius and perfection – I’m literally going to dream about it!
We created a few different nail looks to match the various moods of the collection. Regardless of which shade each model wore, the nails and toes matched, and the shape of the nail was short and round. We used Single Ladies, Nefertiti, Stardust, and Fade to Black also made an appearance on the “dark angel” looks. Most of the models were wearing Baby Love with Stairway to Heaven layered on top to create a sort of angelic feel with an iridescent shimmer.
All of the looks turned out beautifully – the end result when the hair, makeup and nail came together with the clothing was breathtaking. This was truly an incredible, incredible show to be part of.
