Bill Blass Fall 2012
I loved the nails for Bill Blass this season! Modern, chic and simple is the best way to describe the beautiful duet that we created using Single Ladies, with a never before seen dusty nude shade across the tip.
We took a departure from the classic red that we normally see at Bill Blass, and went with a bordeaux red that matched the lips. The nails really gave the models a bit of an edge, while keeping the overall look sophisticated. It was honestly the perfect touch to the collection, and tied the whole look together flawlessly.
The duet nail, which is really a modern approach to a classic French manicure, is a fun way to play with color and is SO easy to create at home. I think that we’re seeing a new trend come to life with this duet look! It’s sophisticated, chic, and a way to approach nail art that isn’t too intimidating because it’s elegant.
My last show of Fall 2012 New York Fashion Week. It’s bittersweet, but what a way to end!
